Dear Robert

A digital certificate on the Internet is proof of identity, such as an
identity card or passport in real life. The procedure for obtaining a
passport is not the same in every country and there are indeed countries
where this is done through intermediaries.

As CAcert we are figuratively speaking a kind of Internet passport office
that adheres to Western standards. Therefore you have to do the following
steps personally.

1. Open an account:
Fill in the form at: https://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=1

2. confirm the opening of the account
You will receive an e-mail after opening your account. In there you will
find the link and more detailed explanations.

3. go to cacert.org and log in:
https://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=4

4. Once, logged in, follow this link to find assurer near you:
https://www.cacert.org/wot.php?id=12
The meet some assurer. For this, bring a WoT form (filled in , the form can
be found on cacert.org if you are logged in) and an ID card or your
passport for the assurance. At the assurance, you will get some assurance
points (from 1 to 35). When you reach 50 or 100 points, you can use your
